Located about fifty mile northwest of New York City in Orange County, NY. Exit 126 off Route 17 (soon to be Interstate 86). The Town of Chester was formed in 1845 from parts of the Towns of Blooming Grove, Goshen, Monroe and Warwick. The Village of Chester was incorporated in 1892 and is one of the fastest growing villages in our community. Chester is home to Industrial Park where some of the nation's largest companies are located, including United Parcel Service, Amscam Inc., Pep Boys, National Parts Depot, and several others.
